Sorry it's been so long since my last post! I have so many cake pics to show you!
This first one is a Tangled theme cake with Rapunzel! She is hand sculpted out of fondant and the tower was made first with rice krispies and then covered in fondant.. The party was outside and I didn't want to chance making a big tower and having it melt in the August heat.

These little guys were so fun to make! This is them before they put on their circus attire!
And this is them after, in front of the circus tent! The birthday boy loved it! Everything is edible and this cake came with matching popcorn cupcakes.

This cake was for a special birthday girl who was turning 84! Her Grandaughter special ordered a cake for her all the way from South Carolina! My instructions were to create a rodeo themed cake with a cowgirl pin-up and this is what I came up with... Everything is edible! Loved every minute of making this cake! Especially loved delivering it to the Birthday Girl, Lucy! She loved it!

So I'm still trying to get the hang of this blogging thing. lol.. I'm slowly trying to add all of my portfolio pics, but finding the time is so difficult! Taking care of kids, baking cakes and blogging, who has time! lol
This cake came out so awesome! I love the way the cap turned out. I just got my airbrush and was dying to use it. Definitely came in hand with this cake =)
The grill on this helmet cake was the most challenging part, I think I made 3 different grills before one finally worked out. Lesson learned ;)

Purple butterfly theme babyshower, 6 inch cake with matching
cupcakes. Butterflies and flowers are made of fondant.
Purple swirls are hand-painted.
I really love how my neutral teddy bear turned out!
The soon-to-be mom didn't know
the sex of the baby, so I came up with this neutral
themed cake. She loved it!
I recently was asked to donate a cake for a great charity in my community, Kids at Heart. The cake was auctioned off as the 2nd highest bidding cake at the auction! I'm so glad that I was able to help this organization!
Just wanted to give a Big Congrats to all of the 2011 graduates this year! Whether your graduating from high school, college, jr high or even kindergarten, its a big accomplishment and a great reason to celebrate! Here are a few grad cakes I did this past June.
